Welcome to the SharePoint Workshop

This site is an informational resource for SharePoint administrators, developers, and users. It focuses on areas not covered well (or at all) by Microsoft, how-to books, or the SharePoint blogs. In this first issue we’ll focus on the add-ins that you can use to extend SharePoint. With SharePoint out-of-the-box, it is easy to get close to what you want, but almost impossible to get exactly what you want. Add-ins make the impossible a little more likely. Table 1 summarizes the add-ins that currently available for SharePoint.

Instructions

Click on the + in Table 1 to expand a category. Click on the product name to go to the product’s Home page. Table 2 lists the add-ins available at no cost to you. Select a part and click the Go button to get more information and a link where you can download the free add-in.
